Basketball Victoria is excited to announce team's and their divisions for the upcoming 2023 Under-14 event to be held at Selkirk Stadium in Ballarat from the 15-17 April 2023.
Junior Country Championships Manager Matt Royal is excited to see our Under-14’s age group take the court.
“Our Under-14 event is a spectacular event to witness. This year we have 86 teams participating from 48 associations. ” Royal said.
“Considering the Covid interruption over the past two years and the impact it has had on so many associations, it is great to see the continuing growth of this event. With the exceptionally high number of teams this year, we have tweaked the fixturing structure previously used, teams will be split into Championship and Premiership divisions which should see a closer competition from the outset of the event.”
“Again, thanks to Cluey Learning (our Digital Partner for the Junior Country Championships) we will be livestreaming two courts for the entire event. Which means family, friends and fans at home who can't attend the event, can still watch it live.”
