These boys, represented Country Victoria with pride, and together overcame every challenge put to them , bringing home gold for the first time in over three decades.
The journey to this golden moment wasn’t an easy one. The team, tight-knit and driven, proved time and time again that they were not just playing for themselves, but for each other, like brothers.
Their triumph is a culmination of hard work. Work from not only the players, but from the dedicated support staff and the families who have been their backbone on this entire journey. These young athletes sacrificed so much to reach this point, having to travel long distances for training and games, but in the end, it was all worth it.
