Basketball Victoria is excited to announce that team nominations have now opened for the 2025 Country Basketball League (CBL) season!
CBL will tip off in October with teams from four conferences, North-West, North-East, South-West and Gippsland, battling it out to become CBL Conference Champions.
The season will commence the first weekend of October with grand finals being held in December.
Team nominations close Sunday 3rd August 2025.
All Basketball Victoria affiliated country associations are eligible to nominate at team to compete in the CBL.
If your association is interested in joining the league for the first time or is wanting to return after a hiatus, our League Manager and Association Development Officers will assist in getting your teams and venues ready to compete.

The CBL Rules of Operation have had some significant changes so please ensure your Association has read and understood them before entering.
