Operations Manager
Craigieburn Basketball Association is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead the operational performance and sustainable growth of one of Victoria's fastest-growing basketball associations.
Reporting directly to the Board of Management, the Operations Manager will provide leadership across operations, competitions, programs, events, and commercial activities. The role will lead an established operations team while improving systems, developing people, building strategic partnerships, driving participation growth, and identifying opportunities that support the association's long-term sustainability.
Essential requirements include a National Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable People Check, and a driver's licence. Desirable qualifications include sports management, business, marketing, public relations, communications, and first aid.

The Food & Beverage Coordinator runs the Courtside Cafés at SPBA's Dromana and Rosebud venues. The role owns ordering, stock and inventory reconciliation, point-of-sale, food safety compliance, presentation and service standards — and leads a small team of Café Attendants. It also delivers mobile food stalls at our annual events. By running both Courtside Cafés efficiently and to a high standard, this role directly shapes the SPBA customer experience and is a meaningful driver of Association revenue.

Pakenham & District Basketball Association
Pakenham Warriors Team Liaison Officer
The Team Liaison Officer (TLO) uses all administrative arms of the Pakenham Warriors to manage team and athlete concerns, and to foster strong team cohesion.
Working collaboratively with Team Managers, Coaches, Directors of Coaching (DOC) and the PDBA Board, the TLO is responsible for managing team enquiries, concerns, and grievances that arise in junior basketball. This allows coaches and DOC to focus on coaching and athlete development, as well as on-court improvement.
This role complements the existing Child Safety Officer, who continues to handle child safety and wellbeing risk matters.
To be a successful TLO you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Social work experience would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite
- Ability to remain calm, impartial, and professional in stressful situations and conversations
- Good understanding of junior sport dynamics, representative preferred
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- No coaching accreditation required — strong people and communication skills are the priority

Pakenham & District Basketball Association
Director of Coaching (Boys & Girls)
The Directors of Coaching (DOC) provides strategic leadership, mentorship, and operational support to coaches and basketball programs across the PDBA, including the Pakenham Warriors VJBL program, JCC, Aussie Hoops, and community programs.
The primary role of the DOC is to teach, mentor, support, and develop coaches at all levels. To protect this focus, the DOCs will work in close partnership with the Team Liaison Officer (TLO). The TLO is responsible for handling team queries and concerns and provide timely feedback and conflict resolution where required. Thus, freeing the DOCs to focus exclusively on supporting, teaching and developing cohesion of Pakenham Warriors coaches and teams.
To be a successful DOC you must have:
- Minimum Basketball Victoria Club/Association Level coaching accreditation
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience at junior and representative levels
- Current WWCC and National Police Check (where applicable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
As a DOC you will be expected to:
- Deliver coach education sessions focused on games
- Provide regular on-court mentoring through training observations and game attendance
- Oversee player development pathways and talent identification
- Work collaboratively with the other DOC on shared responsibilities, selections, tryouts, training schedules, uniform coordination, and high-performance programs
- Contribute to improving VJBL team rankings and pathways to BV Metro/Country programs

Western Port Basketball Association (WPBA) is now inviting Expressions of Interest for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions for the 2026/27 VJBL season. Working alongside Director of Coaching Rick Vos, an experienced and growing coaching group, and within a clearly defined club-wide style of play, our coaches are supported to lead, develop, and continuously enhance their coaching expertise.
At WPBA, player development sits at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performance environment where coaches can make a meaningful impact while advancing their own coaching journey. Whether you’re a returning coach or looking to take the next step in your development, WPBA provides an opportunity to be part of a progressive and supportive basketball program.
All coaches MUST be able to attend information and training session on WPBA Style of Play. Dates and times will be emailed to all applicants once coaches have been selected.
