Coaching Staff 2026/27 VJBL & JCC Teams
Western Port Basketball Association (WPBA) is now inviting Expressions of Interest for Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions for the 2026/27 VJBL season. Working alongside Director of Coaching Rick Vos, an experienced and growing coaching group, and within a clearly defined club-wide style of play, our coaches are supported to lead, develop, and continuously enhance their coaching expertise.
At WPBA, player development sits at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performance environment where coaches can make a meaningful impact while advancing their own coaching journey. Whether you’re a returning coach or looking to take the next step in your development, WPBA provides an opportunity to be part of a progressive and supportive basketball program.
All coaches MUST be able to attend information and training session on WPBA Style of Play. Dates and times will be emailed to all applicants once coaches have been selected.
All coaching appointments are subject to the submission of a valid WWC check and meeting the requirements of basketball Victoria Member Protection Statutory Declaration.
Coaching applications close 5:00pm, Sunday 2nd of August 2026.
Coaches must be available to attend try outs starting Saturday 3rd Oct 2026.

Junior Championship Coaches and Assistant Coaches EOI for the 2026/27 Season
The Bulleen Boomers are now seeking expressions of interest from passionate, skilled and emerging coaches to lead our VJBL teams for the 2026/2027 season.
As one of Australia’s premier basketball programs, the Boomers have a proud history of developing elite athletes and coaches at the representative, state, national, and international levels. We are looking for great people who love basketball and are eager to contribute to the next generation of talent, while improving their coaching.
If you have a strong passion for the game and are motivated to play a key role in the player development pathway, we encourage you to apply. Our program is deeply committed to supporting the growth of both athletes and coaches, and we are excited to collaborate with individuals who are enthusiastic and dedicated.
