Bringing seating into the fold, this is the first partnership Basketball Victoria has signed with a seating partner, which will add to our long-standing relationships with flooring partners throughout our history.

The partnership with Victorian-based Ace Seating, whom are proudly Australian owned and operated, comes at a time of significant growth in basketball. There are over 632 basketball venues currently in use every week across Victoria, with additional stadia and increased infrastructure still needed across the state.

Cocoon Cool Roofs provides effective waterproofing and greater cooling efficiency for stadia roofs across Victoria. Cocoon’s highly waterproof and heat-reflective membrane for commercial buildings helps address water ingress issues and reduce heat load, which cost associations and stadium operators significant time and resources.

Dandenong Basketball Stadium has recently installed a Cocoon Cool Roofs membrane system and is seeing the benefits of dry courts on wet days and improved player and spectator comfort during our harsh summer.

Cocoon can restore commercial roofing of any size or type and protect your asset against the elements. The Australian climate is harsh, and this often takes a heavy toll on the roofs of buildings through heavy rains and intense solar radiation, protecting your asset against these elements has never been more integral. The membrane system holds a 10-year warranty to ensure your stadium remains water resistant for longer and saves you money in the long-term on additional maintenance costs. The membrane is endorsed by the Building Codes Board and has also received Good Environmental Choice Certification.
