Will Leonard wins Bulla Hoop Time Grand Final T-Shirt Competition

MT ELIZA Primary School student Will Leonard got to bring all the fun and excitement to his school on Thursday after winning the Bulla Hoop Time Grand Final T-Shirt competition.

Will’s design was chosen from more than 300 entries for its striking design and will be a fantastic keepsake for our 1580 Bulla Hoop Time grand finalists.

Basketball Victoria’s School Programs Coordinator Rebecca Ross said it was brilliant to see one of Bulla Hoop Time’s players see his design printed  for everyone to see.

“It was a fantastic design and we want to congratulate Will on his brilliant job designing the T-Shirt,” Ross said. “Everyone across our Bulla Hoop Time grand finals will look the part in these T-Shirts and it’ll be great to see everyone wearing Will’s design.

“We also want to thank our program partner Bulla for coming on board to support Bulla Hoop Time – it’s a brilliant program for all Victorian primary school-aged kids and we’re pleased to see interest building in it.”

Bulla Family Dairy’s Andrew Noisette said the partnership with Hoop Time has been tremendously successful and congratulated everyone involved in today’s event at Mt Eliza.

“As an extension to our longstanding partnership with Melbourne United, we’ve been thrilled with the success of Bulla Hoop Time this year,” Noisette said. “We are a local family owned business and love to be involved in activities that are community focused and to that end Hoop Time is a great fit.

“It’s been fantastic to see the enthusiasm of the players, their families and schools right through the program so far.

“The energy and excitement of the event at Mt Eliza today is a real testament to Hoop Time’s success and the hard work of both Basketball Victoria and Melbourne United in bringing it to schools across the state.

“We value our continued involvement in basketball at both the grassroots professional level and see it as a great opportunity to bring our 108 years of history and tradition to be a part of helping inspire a new generation of young basketballers”.

Will’s winning design earned Mt Eliza Primary School a Game Time by Kmart Day special event, hosted by Melbourne United, as well winning as a freezer full of Bulla products to share with his mates and family.

Bulla Hoop Time grand final days will be held across Melbourne. For further information visit the Bulla Hoop Time page.
