HERITAGE College – Narre Warren South hosted a special basketball event on Tuesday after student Amelia Pauwels won our Bulla Hoop Time Grand Final T-Shirt competition.
With her stellar design of the Australian night sky and the Southern Cross, Amelia was chosen as the winner of our Bulla Hoop Time contest, with her design beating out more than 51 entries.
Her T-Shirt will be produced for each of our 1400 Bulla Hoop Time grand finalists, with the grand finals to be held at the end of November at Dandenong Stadium.
Amelia’s winning design also earned her school, Heritage College – Narre Warren South, an extraordinary Game Time by Kmart Day event, hosted by Melbourne United, as well winning as a freezer full of Bulla products to share with her family and friends.
Basketball Victoria’s School Programs Coordinator Rebecca Ross said it was brilliant to see one of Bulla Hoop Time’s players see her design printed for everyone to see.
“It was a fantastic design and we want to congratulate Amelia on her incredible work designing the T-Shirt,” Ross said. “Everyone across our Bulla Hoop Time grand finals will look the part in these T-Shirts and it’ll be great to see everyone wearing what Amelia has designed.
“We want to thank our program partner Bulla for their continued support of Bulla Hoop Time; Victorian primary school-aged kids are able to play with their friends in an incredible program and we’re excited with how Bulla Hoop Time continues to grow.”
Bulla Family Dairy’s Andrew Noisette said the partnership with Hoop Time continues to be tremendously successful.
“As an Australian family owned business we love being associated with basketball, particularly at the grassroot level,” Noisette said. “The Hoop Time program aligns closely with our values as a business and we look forward supporting the program in the years to come”.
Bulla Hoop Time grand final days will be held across Melbourne in November. For further information visit the Bulla Hoop Time page.
