Basketball Victoria and SEDA College are pleased to inform the basketball community that positions are available for students entering Year 11 and 12 next year.
This year’s students have enjoyed the hands-on learning opportunities at SEDA College.
“Chris Anstey told us to strive to be the best version your ourselves. From that quote I learnt that no matter what you do with your career choices, or even life, you always need to perform at your best to achieve your goals,“ – SEDA Basketball Sports Development Program Student, Monique Ventrice.
About the SEDA Basketball Sports Development Program
Basketball Victoria and Melbourne United work together with SEDA College to provide connections to the sports industry and an opportunity to learn in a hands-on basketball environment. This year, the SEDA Basketball Victoria Sports Development programs have actively contributed to the development of basketball in Victoria.
Teenagers of varying abilities in basketball have accessed work placement opportunities in basketball, supported Melbourne United game day activities during the season and ran Mini Hoop Time programs for primary schools in local communities.
At SEDA College, students often have a passion for sport and the learning environment suits teenagers who learn by doing – you won’t use text books at SEDA College, and your teacher will also help you to develop your own career path.
