Further information

The season starts on the 13th October 2018 and runs through to January with finals being played in February 2019. Kyneton plays in the North West Conference which last season (our debut season) includes teams from Mildura, Horsham, Swan Hill, Bendigo, Maryborough and Castlemaine. The season will consist of 12 games over Saturday evenings and Sundays usually, with 6 games being played at home at the Kyneton Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Our story so far, Kyneton’s men’s & women’s teams competed in their first season in the Country Basketball League (North West Conference) in 2017/18. Both teams achieved significant success in our debut season, with the women’s team making the finals and just missing out playing in the grand final by 10 points. Two players from the women’s team received league awards, with one winning the leading goal scorer across the conference and both given an All-star 5 award. The men’s team was competitive and finished sixth overall with a good base of player development across the season
