MELBOURNE United Victorian Junior Basketball League (MUVJBL) is hosting a series of upcoming No Zone Clinics for the 2018/19 season.

No Zone Video Tutorial – 2018 Update

Players will have plenty of time to learn about zones and advanced defensive tactics as they advance through the age groups, but for MUVJBL under-12 and under-14 competitions, the league wants them to learn the basics first.

With this in mind, the MUVJBL will continue its No Zone Clinics with new dates scheduled around Metropolitan Melbourne over the next few months.

These are mandatory clinics for all new under-12 and under-14 coaches entering the MUVJBL and is a requirement for all new coaches and assistant coaches in these age groups as well as new No Zone Delegates.

All new under-12 and under-14 coaches, new assistant coaches, newly appointed No Zone Delegates and new Directors of Coaching (DOC) for 2018/19 season must attend at least one No Zone Clinic. The clinics are also opened to domestic coaches.

There are no exemptions. Coaches that do not attend a clinic will not be permitted to coach under-12s or under-14s in the 2018/19 season.

To register to attend a MUVJBL 2018/19 No Zone Clinic, follow the link and complete the form.
