CLEARANCES

All players who have registered to play in a senior representative competition within Australia and wish to transfer to another club MUST be cleared from their old club before taking the court with their new club.  Your need to clear when transferring does not elapse within a given timeframe – it is a lifetime registration.

VJBL and junior registration is separately held.  A player may play for one club in VJBL and another in Big V.  In this instance a clearance is not required as Big V is a senior competition.  The player will however, require a clearance if they have ever registered to play Big V.

For Big V to Big V clearances;

Your new club will initiate an online clearance from your old club.  There is no need to complete a clearance form unless your club requests this of you.  To check the status of your clearance, go to

http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=1-913-0-0-0&a=CLEAR

which is updated twice daily during the pre-season phase.

For SEABL to Big V and Big V to SEABL clearances;

Complete a Basketball Australia domestic clearance and fax to Basketball Victoria on 9927 6677.  This will then be signed by the Basketball Victoria CEO, forwarded to either Big V or SEABL and Basketball Australia.  You will then be sent a request from your new Big V club to register online if transfering to Big V.  For a copy of the form, go to;
