Basketball Victoria “The Love of the Game” Shooting Clinics

BASKETBALL Victoria is excited to announce a new and unique basketball shooting clinic for young players aged 11-18 here in Melbourne.

NBA Shooting Coach Dave Love has worked with the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the past four seasons with the Orlando Magic, and such players as Aaron Gordon, Tristan Thompson, Elfrid Payton and Bismack Biyombo.

Coach Love will be in Melbourne for three days running clinics for various age groups and in various locations.

These three-hour clinics – run 11-13 April – will include all the same information Coach Love has used to help one NBA player improve 30 per cent from the free throw line in one season and another to switch his shooting hand in mid-career.

Clinic attendees will be instructed on how each part of their body affects their shooting mechanics, and will be shown drills to use to improve their form and consistency.

Players will also receive a bunch of bonus content, from lanyards and t-shirts to online content that will help them improve well after the clinic ends.
